she became the first womean to ever hold position in adminstration of presidential cabinet

The Great Depression - President Hoover's

Herbert Hoover, a Republican president at the beginning of the Great Depression, was ineffective in his response. The americans expressed their anger and frustration with Hoover by burning their crops and dumping their milk on the highway.Some farmers would block the roads from the bill collecters. Hoover's principles he had refused to direct support to the people. The Bonus Army was a group of verterins from WWI and they marched to Washington D.C. They went to D.C to support a Bill.

Prohibition

1.What was prohibition ?
Prohibition was the banning of alcohic . Reformers had long considered liquor prime cause of corrution.They thought too much drinking led to crime , wife and child abuse accidents on the Job, and other serious social problems

2. what groups were responsible for the idea at prohibition ?
The groups that were responsible for me idea of prohibition were, largely
population of native born protestant
3. What were their reasons?
     Their interest were, they anted to enjoy life and also the job of enforcement was tracking down illegal stills, monitoring high ways for truck loads of illegal alcohol and over seeing all the industries that illegaly used to be sure non was taking for illegal.
4.How did people get illegal alcohol?
   People got illegal alcohol by drinkers going to underground hidden Saloons and night clubs known as Speakeasies which means one spoken quietly or easily to aviod detection. Speakeasies could be found in Penthouses, cellars, office buildings, everywhere etc....
5. In your own opinion, was Prohibition a good or bad idea?
    In my opinion i feel that Prohibition was a good movement
