The Great Depression - President Hoover's

Herbert Hoover, a Republican president at the beginning of the Great Depression, was ineffective in his response. The americans expressed their anger and frustration with Hoover by burning their crops and dumping their milk on the highway. Some farmers would block the roads from the bill collecters. Hoover's principles he had refused to direct support to the people. The Bonus Army was a group of verterins from WWI and they marched to Washington D.C. They went to D.C to support a Bill.
