WWII KEY TERMS

1. Allies- The powers of the triple entente.

2.Axis- Principle line of development, movement.

3.Defense spending- A military budget of an entity.

4. Uneployment rate- The percentage of the work force that is uneployed at any given date.

5. Federal outlay- President proposal to the U.S congress which recommends funding levels for the next fiscal year.

6. Rattle Snakes of the Atlantic-

7.German U-boats-  Anglicized version of the german word.

8. Isolationist- A peron who favors.

9. Appease- To bring, to a state of peace.

10. Lend- lease Act- The name of the program under which the U.S supplied the United Kingdom.
